About me

I am a self-taught artist that enjoys to experiment with different art types and mediums.  I  create my art pieces mainly on canvas and wooden board. My style varies between abstract and contemporary art.

More about me

My love of art started in the form of photography and during the Covid Pandemic, I turned my focus to fluid acrylic art. Being inspired by social media, I started experimenting with acrylic paint and later branched into resin, pottery, alcohol ink, encaustic wax and other mediums.

Recognising a need for affordable art and every day use items, I quickly included jewellery as a form of artistic expression. My jewellery items are inspired by the ocean and I like to use organic items like sea shells in my jewellery range.

Being cognizant of a green footprint, I recycle most of the waste during the creation process and also incorporate the paint skins from paint drip offs and incorporate these into my jewellery range.

I view my art as a journey. Each piece increases my portfolio whilst giving me more freedom of expression and joy during the creative process. Every artwork is a little piece of me.

Private lessons and workshops

My studio and gallery are situated in Mossel Bay, 11 Kloof Street, where I also present workshops and give private lessons in the use of different mediums.
